Ezequiel Treister

Ezequiel Treister got his PhD in 2005 from the Universidad de Chile/Yale joint program, working under the supervision of Prof. Meg Urry. He then moved to the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in Chile, where he got a fellowship position that held from 2006 to 2008. From 2008-2011 he worked at the Institute for Astronomy of the University of Hawaii in the United States as a Chandra/Einstein fellow. In September 2011 he joined the Astronomy department at the Universidad de Concepcion in Chile and from March 2016 he became Associated professor of the Institute of Astrophysics of Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile.
