CATA researcher advises audiovisual production about Star Formation
“Ha nacido una estrella. El universo está vivo! (In english: One star has borned. The Universe is alive) is the name of the last audivisual production of the "Planetario of Universidad de Santiago". This film, of 30 minutes was advised and scientific monitoring by Ph.D Guido Garay, P.I. of CATA.
The central argument of the production related us the process of star formation and gestation of the stars based on the chemical elements such: calcium, iron and oxygen, which are an essential part of our body and everything that exists on Earth today .
In a simple language, highly colorful metaphors and an excellent rate of script this audiovisual production becomes an excellent excuse to stay in Santiago and enjoy with your family during this holiday season. The product was developed over six months and takes full advantage of Carl Zeiss VI projector (160cm lenses and four levels high), which uses the dome of the Universidad de Santiago, Planetarium for the simulation of the night sky at 360 º.
