The pioneer of the Chilean Astronomy dies
On Saturday April 11, Dr. Adelina Gutiérrez ceased to exist. For many she was one the precursors of astronomy in our country. Former professor of the Astronomy Departament of the University of Chile she was the first Chilean woman who obtained the Ph.D. grade in Astrophysics in 1964.
